Right, well, I've been into science fiction since before I could walk. Seriously, I grew up on a diet of baby food and Babylon 5. Also, Star Trek & Stargate. I grew up in Birmingham (UK, not Alabama), went to a posh university full of posh people, but decided I'd rather spend my time writing stories that studying. Oops. Now I live in Birmingham again.
My favourite author is Iain M. Banks, my favourite TV show is Red Dwarf, and my favourite cake is cheesecake.
And, yes, I do drink tea (Earl Grey, hot).
