I write what might be described as near-future gay vampire space opera, crossing genres between soft science fiction, urban fantasy, and non-explicit gay paranormal romance. It sounds like an odd mix, but that's the best way I can describe it.
By profession, I am a hematopathologist, a physician who specializes in using laboratory tests and microscopic evaluation of biopsied tissue to diagnose diseases of blood, bone marrow, and lymph nodes, such as leukemia and lymphoma. Yes, I realize the irony that I write about vampires.
The Pact Arcanum saga currently consists of five books: Sunset, Cathedral of the Sky, Sunrise, Moonlight, and Starlight. An alternate version of the same material is the Integrated Serial Edition, in which the text has been redesigned to yield a much more linear timeline, broken into twelve relatively short segments. This alternate edition is recommended for those who like starting at the beginning of the story rather than the middle, and are looking for a quicker and lighter read for each individual segment.
